Today I am excited to share with you the Peony dress by Colette Patterns. I picked this pattern up last September at a sewing boutique in Nashville. I never got around to making this dress, though, until I was motivated by the Indie Pattern challenge going on over at The Monthly Stitch.
This pattern claims it is for beginners and I believe that is fairly accurate. I made a muslin first to get the fit right. All in all I sewed this garment up in just a few days. It came together fairly easily and the directions contained in the booklet are straightforward and easy to follow.
Ultimately, I am pleased with how this dress turned out.
